What is AHC?
Human Timebombs is a documentary by Ágústa Fanney Snorradóttir about the most complex neurological disorder known to man: Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC).
In this documentary, we take a sneak peek into the life of Sunna Valdis, a wonderful little girl that lives with her family in Iceland, offering an excellent insight into the difficulties that Sunna and her family have to endure on a daily basis.
AHC is still not known by the majority of neurologists in the world. Only a very small percentage of the general public is familiar with rare diseases in general and only a fraction of them know about AHC. This documentary gives AHC a voice.
In Human Timebombs doctors and scientists who discovered the cause for AHC talk about why it is such an important disorder to discover and manage, not only for AHC patients and their families, but for millions of people all over the world.
Please help spread awareness of AHC by watching and sharing this video.
